Telcom: is a telecommunications network operator in Somalia. It is the first major privately owned company providing telecommunications services to cities nationwide. Telcom is headquartered in Bakaara Market, Mogadishu. Somtel: Somtel  is a telecommunications company headquartered in Hargeisa, the capital of the northwestern Somaliland region of Somalia. One of Somalia’s leading telecommunications firms, it provides a comprehensive range of mobile voice and data services to customers, including 1G and the first 1G network. Somtel is largely owned by Dahabshiil, but is officially registered in the British Virgin Islands. NationLink: NationLink Telecom is a telecommunications firm based in Somalia. NationLink Telecom was founded in September 1997 by Abdirizak Ido, a Somali businessman currently serving as the company’s President. The firm is one of the leading telecommunications service providers (TSP) in Somalia and offers its services throughout the country. GSM-900.

Hormuud: Hormuud Telecom Somalia Inc. is a privately held telecommunications company based in Mogadishu, Somalia. GSM-900 (GPRS, EDGE)

Netco: North Eastern Telecommunications Company (Netco Ltd.) is a telecommunications company established in 1993 in Bosaso, the commercial capital of the northeastern Bari region of Somalia. Netco is owned by Ismael Haji Abdi, an MBA graduate from Wisconsin University, USA, and is part of the Somali Telecom Group of companies. It is the largest telecommunications firm in the autonomous Puntland region of Somalia. Netco is a rapidly developing company and has grown massively in the past 15 years, with a current customer-base of over 800,000 individuals.

Golis Telecom Somalia: Golis Telecom Somalia  shortened to Golis, is the largest telecommunications operator in northeastern Somalia. It was founded in 2002 with the objective of supplying the country with GSM mobile services, fixed line and internet services. The firm has an extensive network that covers all the major cities and more than 40 districts in both Puntland and Somaliland.
